Is it Tuesday already?!
That means its time for a birthday card then!
Isn’t it lovely?
It actually started off as a whole sheet of A4 Hello Honey folded in half. I then applied the Honeycomb Textured Embossing folder to one half. As the folder is a certain width, I had to reapply it to the other side making sure it lined up perfectly over part of the first embos. Now as I had applied it twice already there was still a section of the card at the bottom that was blank and fearing damage to the card I decided to cut that section off as I did not think it would come out of the big shot still in one piece.
For the central piece I used the Projects Life cards & Labels Framelits die on a piece of whisper white and blackberry bliss and ran it though the Big Shot and then layered one on top of the other. For the sentiment I used the happy birthday from Occasions 4 You inked in blackberry bliss and printed on whisper white. The little banners at the bottom are cut offs from moonlight dsp and Sahara Sand card stock and were stuck to the back of the blackberry bliss card stock. These pieces were then mounted onto the card using dimensionals.
For the sweet 16 heart I use part of a stamp in the retiring hostess set Hello There and the numbers are Blockhead Alphabet, cut out using the sweetheart punch. The clip that attaches it to the main sentiment is from the Everyday Adventure Accessory pack.
Thanks for stopping by, come back again soon.
