Hi and welcome to this weeks Birthday Card Tuesday!
For this weeks card I decided to try and recreate a card that I had seen on page 12 of the new spring/summer catalogue.
To make the card I cut some A4 pool party cardstock in half and then folded that piece in half to form the base. Next I cut down a piece of the balloon birthday bash dsp and cut it so that it was 1/8 of an inch shorter than base on all sides I then mounted it on the base using dimensionals. The strips of paper used in the middle of the card were also cut from other sheets of the birthday bash paper and I cut into the ends to form the triangular banner shape, these pieces were stuck down with mini glue dots.
The sentiment and the balloon all came from one stamp set balloon bash. I stamped each piece on whisper white card stock (had to cut them all out by hand) and the ink colors used were bermuda bay and calypso coral as they are the same colours featured in the paper. The celebrate, happy birthday and balloon were all mounted onto the card using dimensionals and to finish the balloon off I added a piece of white bakers twine.
Hope you like the card, try making it your self its really easy!
